Vaultek DS2i Smart Station
Built from 18-gauge steel, the DS2i features anti-pry construction and an anti-impact latch design. As a result, the contents of your safe remain safeguarded against unauthorized entry. Likewise, the included HD steel security cable allows you to tether it in place, so it cannot be stolen for later entry. If you prefer to direct mount, Vaultek offers mounting plates at an additional cost. When it comes to authorized entry, the DS2i provides multiple options. First, a Smart Sense digital keypad offers backlit illumination and over 75 thousand user-programable combinations between 4 – 8 digits. Next, the high-resolution biometric scanner provides a responsive experience to up to 20 users. Finally, an optional Nano Key provides remote biometric entry (sold separately).
Powered by an AC power adapter, the DS2i includes a built-in battery backup in the event of a power outage. In the event that the batteries are also failing to provide entry, mechanical backup keys will open the safe. Thanks to a precision-designed ball-bearing twin rail system, the drawer opens quietly for discreet entry. The 9″ x 7.5″ x 1.5” drawer provides ample room for anything you need to keep secure. This includes jewelry, small documents, personal belongings, or a full-size pistol up to 9 inches. Once open, a built-in LED interior light illuminates the interior so you can see what you’re grabbing.

The DS2i is not short on features that fit your lifestyle either. Featuring a fully customizable LED display, you are provided with time/temperature/humidity at a glance. The face can be customized via an app on a Bluetooth-enabled phone, which can also control/monitor other aspects of the safe. Correspondingly, the top includes a wireless charging pad, while the back has USB/USB-C accessory charging ports.
